This is the most common question that we are getting, and I can promise you that we are getting very close. Before I get into the timeline, I want to state clearly that you’ll be getting an account at absolutely no cost.
You don’t have to do anything in order to get your account. You just need to stay tuned (thanks for your patience)… we’ll be releasing accounts in the order of which you signed up. The wait will be worth it for your business.
So here’s what you can expect over the next few months.
Beta – September (right around the corner)
We’re really excited to get the product into your hands so you can start using it and telling us what else you’d like to see it do. We will be sending out emails inviting each of you into the beta during the month of September. This first version of the product will take screenshots and monitor keyboard and mouse activity of each worker. There will also be a web dashboard so you can login from anywhere to manage your workforce and run reports.
Again, since you are on the beta list, you are going to get access at no cost!
Official launch – October
Along with the initial launch of Hubstaff we will be adding the ability for employees to log time against specific projects. You’ll be able to see the time each employee spent per project each day and be able to review their computer activity along side it.
Basecamp integration – November
Quick on the heals of our official launch we plan to build integration with Basecamp into Hubstaff. This will let you create projects and assign tasks in Basecamp and have them sync into Hubstaff. That way your workers can see their task list directly on their desktop from within the Hubstaff client. They will be able to log their time against those projects and tasks. They can even complete those tasks and it will all sync back into Basecamp.
